For those who do not know what online flash games are, online flash are games that are played on a web browser made by Adobe Flash. Adobe Flash has revolutionized the way web browsing games are today with its advanced technology. One thing that is very cool about online flash games is that you can save a lot of money just playing them.
Most of them are free to play, unlike video games where you have to spend a great deal of money just to play several games. One thing about online flash games that some so called “gamers” do not like is that the graphics are not nearly as good as the graphics displayed on most video games. Another thing that can be difficult for someone playing flash games is using a keyboard and a mouse as a controller. Using a keyboard and mouse for many is a lot more inconvenient than just simply using a handheld controller. In 1996, some of the first developed games on the internet were made by Macromedia Flash at the time.
During that point in time, flash games had very simplistic graphics and most of them were very similar to classic video games. During the early 2000’s, flash games were at its peak. What made flash games so successful is its advance technology at the time. Not only the advanced technology, but also the variety of games that were made by Adobe Flash. The graphics put out by Adobe Flash during the early 2000’s were never before seen in browser gaming ever.
Many of gaming websites that are well known today have a multitude of flash games in its gaming inventory. Websites like, Miniclip, Agames, Kongregate and many more all have a huge variety of flash games. Although flash games were a huge success in the early 2000’s, flash games started to decrease in satisfaction in the 2010’s. Companies maintain relevant for long periods of time because those companies know how to evolve through time.
One thing Adobe flash failed to do is evolve greatly. Ever since flash games were popularized i n the early 2000’s, the one thing Adobe flash failed to do is keep up with the times and now other software and platforms have surpassed Adobe. What mainly caused the fall of flash games were mobile games. During this decade, the rise of mobile games have been tremendous. Mobile games supply some of the same, and even better graphics then flash games with a great variety of games, while also being handheld. Due to that, Adobe will kill flash in the year 2020. This is very unfortunate for Adobe, but without flash, many of the new technology for games wouldn’t exist right now. For that, many gamers owe a huge thank you to flash games for revolutionizing online gaming.
